Here we are, a full week following my scheduled book launch date. There is still no image of my book up on Amazon. What’s worse, Amazon is telling anyone looking that if they ordered my book through them it will take 2-4 weeks before the book will ship to them. My publishing strategist has never seen anything like this before. Amazon gave me the run-around and now won’t work with me to solve the issue. My distributor’s hands are tied by a 30-day agreement with Amazon.
Today, after talking with a conservative writer I’m told that Amazon does this to conservatives all the time. This isn’t a “conservative” book. It is a work of fiction. It must be the title. Wayward Patriot: Preserving the Vote must have caused them to assume this is an election deniers trope. In fact, the book is apolitical.
